Was he really that terrible of a person that people are celebrating it? I saw his early videos, they were cringe and a bit creepy but of what I saw he seemed like a nice enough person. My overall feeling was one of ambivalence.
The article is straight up wrong about 'recent months' - The guy went quite literally insane some years back, as in truly lost grip of actual reality, not sure if it was drugs or life or biological or all three, but it was quite sad to see. He made multiple videos over the course of months of just out-of-his mind delusions and mental suffering. I never saw any indication he really recovered, so I'm really not convinced as to how particularly lucidly aware he would've been of any of his actions since then.
Unless I missed something big, this story is just a sad one of a vaguely creepy but otherwise nice-seeming guy falling down a slope of mental sickness, going through years of suffering without sufficient help until falling into a pit of genuine madness and death. Not exactly a joyous one.
Did I miss something or are we just being overly celebratory about some random guy living a miserable deluded life and fucking dying of psychological illness?
