This is quite surprising coming from someone as ethical as Nigel Fraudage.

I'm willing to bet there are already hundreds of videos on Youtube and Tiktok cheering Farage on for sticking it to the man. Not long before Farage goes full manosphere, making propaganda where he's sitting on the bonnet of a Ferrari. "You too can be a millionaire, drive a Ferrari and pull women... all you need to do is vote Reform," he'll say.

I'm guessing he's going to get away with it because the rules don't exist in the first place or some other such technicality.

either that or in 15 years he's ordered to pay a 5000 pound fine

People won't care, normal logic doesn't apply to these type of douches.

Normal people would care, but they've already made up their minds about Farage.

This is the same thing as Trump, endless articles trying to convince people of something they either already believe, or who are dug in such that it entrenches them.

I suppose these articles need to be written for documentation, like this is the actual "first draft of history" that subscribers and advertisers pay for, but they're not going to change anything politically (I think).

Maybe this is aimed at wobbly Tories?

Quickly fine him 1% of the total profit he made from this, that will teach him.

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
