why do humans do this to each other
Insecurities from childhood bullying (frequently from their own families, so it gets repeated down the generational line) drive irrational subconscious fears & the need for power trips to overcompensate.
Holy crap, I didn't know anything about this. These people have served their time just let them go home. What the fuck is wrong with humanity today.
