Australia to double potential fines for Facebook and Instagram over child social media accounts

As much as I absolutely despise Meta, the censorship of Australian Citizens in the name of “protecting the children” is more abhorrent.
Rather than banning social media for people below the age of consent, there should be funding and promotion of a safe platform that empowers and supports young people.
