And luckily this wasn’t for anything too urgent, it was for credit card fraud or something along those lines. But actual emergencies get called into us all kinds of bass-ackwards ways like someone in another state calls their mom who lives here who calls her local police who transfer her to us so that we can transfer her to the police where the person who’s actually having an emergency is.

Thank you for giving us so much insight and taking the time to explain the background! I haven't even considered this kind of scenario, I mean this sounds like a patter and something that might even increase as more people rely on bad AI. Can you maybe raise this issue with a higher up office? Also thank you for the important work you are doing, if I had an emergency, I would hope somebody considerate like you is on the other end! :)

No, I only recently found them! Thank you so much for the recommendations friend, are you by any chance an admin? we could recommend each others communities in the sidebar I think? :)

yeah I also read that they heavily train it on Reddit, used to be more last year though.

I also sometimes quick read and make mistakes, especially irony like this is the hardest to not misunderstand. Honestly awesome replies, not many people are willing to admit a mistake, especially not online, it's not easy, compliment for that, really <3 Nobody is perfect, all we can do is try to do better :))

Interesting! I feel like they want the people to stay longer on their platform instead of going on the websites?

We have to unite to get enough people together so we can get rid of those Meta products, especially Instagram & WhatsApp!

no worries haha just surprised to find it on the Fediverse, usually people here aren't insulting tbh On Reddit it's super normal haha like 100 people like what you post and 1 person write like FU I HATE YOU ;)

I'm actually the creator of: https://lemmy.world/c/DeMeta and https://www.reddit.com/r/DeMeta/ I certainly feel ya on Meta ;)) We just gotta point it in the right direction instead of fighting each other friend, let's unite <3

I was trying to relate this to the use of conflicts, while it may be true, - he was already doing this before the conflicts and could be doing this without them I think. Thank you for mentioning it though :)

When faced with domestic/personal political problems, an easy method to sideline & slowly solve them, is to start or escalate #war.

It shifts the public conversation, changes the legal & political environment /interests, eases expanded military action at home, & creates opportunities to reward & align with certain factions (oligarchs, corporations, #military leaders).

Here are my thoughts and analysis on the subject in the shape of a table.

What do you think?

Took me a while to make this :)

Please share if you think this makes sense!

*Focusing on recent / ongoing conflicts!
