Nah, nowadays they don't put them up at all.
Man, it's fascinating how corporations just cannot win this one and have to participate wether they like it or not.
-Don't react to pride month=> ok fuck you too buddy.
-react to pride month=> shut up corp.
-go all out=> ok that's just distasteful and disingenuous somehow.
-keep it subtle=> oh I see you're trying not to alienate the pedoservatives too much.
Run adds like normal during a pandemic, when the planet is on fire, when fascism turns it's ugly head, during genocides, ... keep on trucking assholes. It makes em look like massive tonedeaf hypocrites and I think it's spectacular.
I think those might be complaints from different groups of people. Correct me if I'm wrong.

They never actually did pride logos this year.
Not profitable right now with Trump in office.
For most of these megacorps, it was never about the movement, it was the PR and brand loyalty.
Right now, more people are against it than for it, so that's what'll bring in the most revenue.
That last statement is not true—at least not in the US. Pro-LGBTQ sentiment is declining, but there’s still significantly more support than opposition.

Don't worry, our right wing mayor took the pride flag (literally could have been a towel with how small it was) once the parade day (27th) ended (gotta get those unsuspecting voters with "see? they put the flag up" brrrrrr).
Our culture is worth preserving. Corporations ain't gonna do that. We do that. Grassroots. Pride is supposed to be grassroots. Trump did us a favor in this one way, showed us how rainbow-washed "integration" is as worthless as the ad circulars they're printed on. What matters is if you have rights, and you get those by showing up for the fight. Get involved this year. Make them afraid to take our rights away. That's the real heart of Pride.
As has been pointed out a few times this year, pride parades have always been protests. Fuck the system, and fuck the haters.
They were protests until we let giant corporate sponsors take over, suddenly they were entertainment events with huge budgets to get the best performers. A circus. We shouldn't need to fly in Gloria Estefan to flood the streets with our people for a day.
Are we going to disparage the companies that did do something for pride month this year because they're only doing it for the month, ya know pride month, even in this climate? I think let's not trash them?
