classic rock

classic rock

I know.
I went to school with the new singer, Jeff Gutt. From a very small town, and it's always weird to see him in STP. He was a super nice, chill kid.
that’s wild!! Fits the general description of someone who’d appreciate STP’s lyrics
Always had a soft spot for them, never caught a show unfortunately. You and your dad have good taste! The bassline in Trippin is one of my all timers. I'm learning to play bass and have had real good time on that one. The bass on Plush is fuckin rad too, super melodic and I hear it almost like backup vocals
they're great songs to learn bass from! My friend and I would talk about Plush all the time during our formative music years. Keep at it!!!
Oh gawd, please don't call STP classic rock. You couldn't catch me calling NIN classic rock for the same reason, the 90s are not early enough temporally. Classic rock is like 60s or 70s tunes.
I'm so sorry you had to see Godsmack, lmao
STP is older than the 60s or 70s were when Core released what is it if not literally classic
I guess I tend to define these things based on static years, rather than how old it is relative to the present?
Are we going to be calling 30 Seconds To Mars classic rock in a couple decades?
hopefully by then we'll have the technology to physically scrub all record of Jared Leto from history and memory. I'm also mostly just playin'
What was the problem with Godsmack?
No general problem i’m sure ppl there loved the show but we were only there to see STP, I’m just not into godsmack
Post well known tunes into the megathread. Post fresh vibes individually.
