The book itself is stupid. It tries to present a model, why bleach should work, but only gives half truths about its chemical properties, while writing about them in different styles, but always saying the same thing - and after saying the same thing (wrong) 3 times, he says, those together are the reasons, why it works.
It's just beyond stupid.

I am constantly amazed just how absolutely mind-numbingly stupid some people are. There is no lower bound.
