I am a sucker for music and i listen to it all the time, and i am very impressed by the Sound quality of speakers on my Iphone 13. They sound like a mini sound bar. I can hear the low end very well and it gives a great output. I also admire the display and consistency in UI. Apart from this, the audio recording quality is also amazing. You can record a song on your iphone and the Quality of vocals is better than my USB condenser mic worth 4k INR. What do you like about Iphones.

I had android phones before my 11pro. The thing that makes me happy is stability. It just works. If something stops working there’s an update and it Carries on working. No faffing around. Easy to use. Good photos too. Also I love that it just work seamlessly with my Apple Watch. I haven’t had a phone longer than 6 months to a year. I’ve had this phone almost 3 years now. I’m thinking of getting a 15pro but not changing to android any time soon.

The things I love about iPhone are MagSafe, Portrait mode, screen calibration. Unfortunately, however, there are also serious drawbacks compared to Android, such as the lousy keyboard, slow animations, fake browsers, lack of a universal backward method, and more.

The camera is very reliable especially for video

The software is smooth and lag free it’s very well optimised

I switched quite recently to IOS and I have no regrets

I can only speak for the SE (2022) at my last job and my Mom's 13 Pro Max. I'm a Pixel 8 Pro main driver myself. I like the hardware design. I also get some satisfaction from organizing the phones to how I think I would use them most easily depending on my needs at the moment. I treat it like an organization activity with a little challenge (every app snaps to the left of the screen).

Not much an audiphile so can't comment on that. I guess it sounds nice but my phone is almost always silent and I watch videos on my iPad..

What I like about iPhone, specifically mine is the screen. So clear, crisp, and smooth. Granted I moved from Note9 (5+ years old) so pf course technology advanced. But I just love it.

Since it's new too, I like the battery life and how it's only warm when used for gaming. I charged my phone yesterday at 81% and until now (1.5 days later) it sits at 40% with light use. Truly an upgrade. For now. 😂

The price stability. The simplicity. The display. The excellently well-optimized apps. The camera integration into social media apps.

I've been there since the iPhone 3G and have always used Samsung Androids at the same time and have to say that I've always felt more drawn to Apple iPhones.

I have an S23 and have to say that the apps are not nearly as well optimized as on the iPhone, especially social media apps.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I like how simple the OS is and doesn't seem to have weird bugs that lock up the touch screen, my mates last phone is a perfect example of why i don't want android, the thing would lock up, crash and restart its self and this is a nokia we're talking about, he now has a motorola which definitely does have its moments such as his earbuds reacting weirdly with Roblox and causing it to close, i also like that you know what specs iphones have and android is kinda like a no mans land

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I switched from s23 ultra to the 14pm and now 15PM, I'm never going back to android, iphones just work, no random BS, no tinkering, no unexpected crashes, no malware filled apps in the appstore front page, camera is always amazing, sound is also always amazing, the products are just so good I made the entire switch to apple devices. I'm just so sick of being a perpetual beta tester for MS and Google

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

The interface is just so easy to use. Example, when I switched to the 11 from my 8+ I thought I would hate not having a home button and fingerprint scanning.

Now I can't imagine life with one and without Face ID.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Good, ready to use features for every day tasks. Video / social media content generation is unmatched.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Not necessarily ‘like’ but blue bubble supremacy is real in the US. You just met a cute girl and she wants to facetime? Try explaining why you can’t and why she needs to download whatsapp. Ultimately a phone is for communication and iPhones are just easier because its what most people use

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

They get the job done. And they tend to last longer and be more reliable than even the highest end android phones.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Apple has currently best hardware and software. But Samsung is really close to them with the s23ultra. Maybe in feb24 things can change.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

iMessage, 6 years of software updates, quick and responsive and extremely reliable after 5 years since release (my current XR), FaceTime, on the forefront of new ideas, ecosystem mentality and tightknit connectivity between apple products.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Sturdy! I dropped my phones sooo many times. Never had the monitor cracked or phone become funny.

I just realized Apple Music sounds waaayy better than Spotify. I'm now with 13pm and have been using iPhone since 4s. I used Spotify for some time then started to notice difference in sound quality with Apple Music.

One other thing for the new OS is voice isolation when taking calls using headphones. Life saver when you are working outside and have to join a meeting.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

simplicity. I tried a google pixel and it’s just too complicated for me, maybe i’m just not advanced enough 😭

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

i like the look of them and to some degree the layout, everything else is shit but im too invested already to change to a different brand

Yes, the speakers are very nice. When I switched to an iPhone from my midrange Android I would randomly play a song just to hear the speakers. I always liked the way you can customize the double and triple tap on the back of the phone, and triple click of the power button. I currently have the triple click set to reduce the dark point and the triple tap on the back to turn the display to grayscale.

The ecosystem has me in a chokehold

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Camera, ios, famiy set up, overall build quality. My flip 4 already making noises when I “flip” it. 🥲

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I love all the Apple only apps. Notes, Reminders, Pages, Apple Maps (superior to Google maps), iMessage. Also, Apple shortcuts cuts are amazing!

My first phone was the Samsung S8+, had an awful experience with Samsung Repair Centre. Then I had the Z Flip 1 which was fine but not exactly the best battery life. Things got worse as I was refused a battery replacement within warranty period due to Samsung's limited manufacturer's warranty. Basically, Samsung's own warranty in Asia wasn't recognised in Europe. This became a huge pain and cause of stress for me whilst studying for the Bar in UK. Currently have the 14PM, and I gotta say the stability is much appreciated. For those of us with a limited budget unable to constantly change phones yearly, the stability in terms of phone performance and after sales service is appreciated. I now have a phone that I know just works and if something goes wrong? Just book a Genius appointment and walk into my nearest Apple Store or Official Reseller. When you're aging, and need to be focusing more on work and your life, having a phone that just works and an almost guaranteed standardised level of after sales service is everything!

I’m a sucker for music as well, but i never played music on my iphone, either a speaker or headsets, but what I admire about iphones the most is the simplicity and the aesthetic of it. I’m aware android phones offer alot of customization but that’s not my thing, i like my phone simple, it’s not some god damn canvas that ill be staring at and admiring how many widgets and flashy things on the screen

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Concur with this answer, well put.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah and I’d like to add that they can go reaaaaally loud. On my previous Samsung S20 I always had the volume on the upper part of scale, now on iPhone 15 it’s always on the lower part because on the upper part it really becomes like a mini sound bar.

I bought an iPhone over 10 years ago cause all my friends had one. That was back in the 4s days. I have used an iPhone ever since and honestly I love the solid software updates, iMessage and FaceTime are big since I’m American, and generally app support is better.

Now with Apple making phones with usb c, putting RCS in the OS with side loading to some degree, it will really help blur the line for a lot of folks.

Conversely Google have started making their own custom silicone and I use a Pixel 7 for work and that thing is freaking fast. But Apple put their own custom silicone first so I guess this is an Android move to what iPhone has been doing.

Naturally there’s a lot to love about my iPhone but it’s really just a tool at the end of the day and I don’t think much about it. It’s there when I need it.

My top 1 reason is how safe they are, and that's why I'm really disappointed with and worried about that latest EU decision

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

What decision?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

why would you be? Just don't install any alternative app store and you're good!

Its the best phone for me to play games on. Does not overheat, great frame rate and smooth gameplay.

Using 15 pro max

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Im using both android and iPhone and i gonna say, iPhone have an amazing battery life, great video quality camera and software updates

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I dunno. They just work. Great cameras and screens too

The smell of curry from the latest iPhone 15 Pro.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

The curry is tasty and healthy, isnt it?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

The experience ngl. Whatever it does it does great. Whatever it doesn't do great it falls flat on. The highs don't get marred by the lows and that's what is good about it.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

The home button

It’s crazy how Apple thinks of the little things. To me I love the sound the chose when purchasing an app or video movie.

I realize this is exactly what non Apple users hate about Apple users lol but I love how easily iPhones play with other Apple devices. I have an Apple TV that I use for streaming, if I want to cast from my phone to the TV it is so easy. I can send and receive calls and texts through my Macbook.

Granted, it’s been about 5 years since I last had an Android, but my iPhones have typically lasted much longer than my Android phones. I was lucky to get a year of use out of them.
