He was green later, but was that Grey Hulk the first time they showed him? Iโ€™d love to see marvel do something with that and maybe this could be a setup.

So it looks like Peter is mutating, but also seemingly immune to mind control powers. I assume they're related, but I wonder why. The existence of Jean Grey or a similar mutant in this universe triggering mutations? Active mutations being uncontrollable?

One of the other trailers said something about spiders naturally changing during later parts of their life cycle or something so I dont think its universe wide.

I don't think it's "Jean" but could be Madelyne Pryor? Was gonna say maybe Emma but I don't think Emma would allow herself to dress like that. I'm leaning towards Pryor which would allow a decent introduction of the X-Men. The black eyes of Parker, the triggering of mutations, possessing people, etc as Pryor also has demonic abilities.

That would actually work really well. It would allow Sadie Sink to play "evil" Jean Grey for most of the film, and then we can still introduce Sadie Sink as regular Jean Grey later on, maybe even in this film. Also we set the seed for Mr Sinister, who we haven't seen yet in the live action X-Men universe.
