Subaru broke down so hard this time Satella had to personally intervene with a hug and an "aishiteru" barrage only for Emilia to break in an steal her man back. The entire scene with Emilia listing out her core memories with Subaru was incredible, and it mirrors how Subaru usually experienced reality with Return by Death as well, having memories of moments with his friends that they don't remember. And what a way to end the first cour, Subaru back at his amnesiac "starting point" again but this time with the resolve and trust in his allies to carry on! The painful 2 months long wait for the next part begins.

Nobody said Reid could not just walk around and trigger Shaula's beast mode.

I hated that it ended with Subaru saying "I'm back". Bitch, what is back? your memory? your checkpoint? are you really gonna make me wait a whole week to know?

Hope he gets back his memory. I am not keen on a Subaru which has no past hardship memories. IMHO it is what makes it who he really is!

I want him to get those memories back too, but I'm not sure I'm keen on him getting them back this way. Neither he nor anyone else has really done anything for them, y'know? As-is, if he has his memories back now nobody will ever even know he lost them. That said, if he and Emilia both get Subaru's memories back I'd by fine with it because it would be kinda funny.
