I have spectrum fiber and I'm on ethernet, I've tried using a different asus router and it isn't any better. Idk how to fix it or if this is just normal for spectrum? I'm using the modem and router that came with spectrum

I believe the highest upload they have is 40Mb, so that's not far off.

Right now, you have FTTH using RFOG (Radio Frequency over Glass). Unfortunately, although delivered via fiber optics, the underlying service is a cable tv network, with limited upload speed. Someday, Spectrum will upgrade their networks for higher upload speeds. You might want to research other ISPs that serve your area.
