The number of problems that would be solved if only Blair fucked the fuck off might not be high, but it's also not zero.

He is aging like a fine sock

[-] rmuk@feddit.uk 2 points 4 days ago

This might have replaced "aged like fine milk" in my repertoire.

[-] NickwithaC@lemmy.world 16 points 5 days ago

Of course he does. He's a broken record on both fronts.

He's a mouthpiece for fossil-fuel-producing dictators. If we want to survive, we should do the opposite, and crush his employers, economically if possible, and by other means if necessary.

And frankly, it's disgusting to see former PMs and other senior politicians whoring themselves out like this.

When winning is more important than principles.

[-] icanbrewmushrooms@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago

I'm pretty sure those are his principles, the man is a fucking ghoul.

How did he get out of the painting again‽

The depravity of these people never ceased to amaze me. They are motivated by nothing but greed.

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
