Man in a gimp suit holding his leash: "woof"
They leave their dog with guests? I have never been to an Airbnb so I don't know if that's usual but it feels so wrong for both sides on this. As a guest having to deal with a dog, as a host leaving my dog alone with strangers.
You can book a room in Airbnb. I've never tried that, but I assume the host is still using the rest of the house. And dogs might want to sleep in their favorite room, not understanding the concept of Airbnb.
Why the fuck would I or anyone else do that? I Get a motel room before ever renting a room from a stranger.
It used to be this was the only type of accommodations they had listed on airbnb. Or at least the large majority.
It's likely cheaper, and may be better located?
I thought we'd discovered that Air BnB is generally more expensive.
I don't have data on that. I think it may be more expensive than a cheap motel, but that may not be the comparison someone is making when they choose.
I'd be furious if I knew of this after booking. Not knowing that there will be an animal before paying should be grounds for suing.

I hate Airbnb, but this would get me to use it over a hotel!
Only useful if you're going to a wedding or such with a group of people in an area without hotels.
