This really highlights the disconnect between money and material reality. So much of capitalist society is built in a way where things that make financial sense are absolutely devastating for the natural world and a complete waste of resources. I can't predict the future but I think any people living in the probable post capitalist resource scarcity plagued societies will curse the generations from this capitalist death drive era.
I can't with Reddit liberals. Giving their son more money than 40% of people working in Vancouver make for his 3 hours of classes per week is appearantly the perfect way to teach him about financial responsibility.
