As plenty of military vets have pointed out right from the start, combatants undergoing direct combat stress do not commit rape, and the reason they don't is perfectly logical - the adrenalin is flowing to the wrong bodyparts, see?
That's why you don't even see IDF soldiers - made up of people from a society where the rape of "the other" is perfectly normalised and acceptable - get out of their Merkavas to rape Palestinians whenever they operate in the hostile spaces of Gaza or southern Lebanon (where ambushes can happen at any moment.)
