I learned what happens to cruise ships with virus out-breaks during covid. Whatever small amount of desire I had to take a cruise someday vanished then.
A group of friends convinced me to go on a cruise (pre-covid). I came down with the worst cold of my life... I was oozing out of everywhere.
It was no surprise to me that covid outbreaks were rampant on cruise ships.
It wasn't even all that fun. Even if covid never happened, 0/10 would not recommend.
Also, fun fact: you can contract more than one strain of the cold virus at the same time.

So the important question, how many toilets do they have that can be used in parallel?
Bummer. Probably spread through tainted food, and 90% of what you do on a cruise is just feast.
If you're not turned off to cruises yet by all the news reports, then I highly recommend watching Triangle of Sadness to put the final nails in that coffin.
I did one cruise with friends back in 2018ish, returned home with the worst sore throat and sinus congestion I've ever experienced. The food was 10/10 though.
