They've used facial scanning at park entry for at least the last year and probably a lot longer.
and they've used ~~magicband~~ wristband trackers and rfid ticket cards for over a decade.
I went years ago and when we entered the park, the fucking fingerprinted everyone. Kids, adults, it ddin't matter. I was so pissed, I had no idea.
Fuck that place, their rides are ass and it's overpriced soulless bullshit.
The only thing that seemed to carry the whimsy of the I presume is the original park was some weird thing where there were talking and singing birds. It seemed silly, fun and felt like what the place was supposed to be.
Same, I went in maybe 2015? and had my finger scanned. I’d already bought the tickets in advance online and had an excited preteen with me, what was I going to do, turn around and make her go home? They know you’re not going to say no because they’ve spent billions of dollars convincing every child in your life that it’s the closest thing to going to heaven without dying.
Any corporate anything using CCTV is scanning your face too.
