I think political parties/organizations (talking particularly on the Right) groom almost all of their public facing people. Charlie Kirk is one example, weird stuff going around with Erika Kirk after he was already taken into TPUSA. Doesn't make them any less worse people but it's scary and sad to see
Like all right-wingers, when she says, "I believe in," she doesn't mean, "these are the principals by which I conduct myself." She means, "this is how I think others should react to me, regardless of how I conduct myself."
That would sort of track for a young ladywith a conservative upbringing.
I do feel like that's an especially difficult position to be born in. Not the worst of course, but church women have been through or are currently in a high pressured high control system.
