Most likely. .ml was a free domain name for many years (including when we got it), alongside ones like .tk and .gq . So a lot of countries blocked them because many of the free domain sites were spam vectors.

Things of the fediverse, they need to adjust the Firewall to any instance individually. The people there use anyway an VPN. Meanwhile a lot of chinese people in Mastodon instances without problems.
