The article doesn't get into it much, but an acre of solar panels provides a lot more vehicle-miles than an acre of corn turned into ethanol.

Eat the food you grow and build solar panels, corn ethanol is incredibly foolish of a future to bank on.

Ethanol is less fuel efficient, and it does not even cost less at the pump.

Ethanol is a shitty fuel. Build more infra for solar energy and electric/hybrid vehicles.
