NASA Public Affairs Officer Lori Meggs talks with John DeWitt, principal investigator for the Treadmill Kinematics experiment aboard the International Space Station. Treadmill Kinematics is the first rigorous investigation to quantify the biomechanics of treadmill exercise conditions during long duration space flight on the station.

In skylab they went full-on "2001 A Space Odyssey", running round their ring of storage lockers.

Instead of a revolving station, their circular path meant that they were always having to "push up" on each step, having much the same effect, since they were accelerating themselves towards the center.
