Take down bird feeders this summer to cut spread of avian disease, says RSPB

Ok I don't seem to get any finches so I'm presuming that everything will be okay because I do get an awful lot of sparrows.
I've got two nests living close by so hopefully they're gonna be fine.
Bugger. Just bought a load of peanuts.
As for fat balls, the magpies and parakeets will scoff them all unless I come up with some sort of Heath Robinson feeder they can’t get into.
