No, because capitalist states run on capitalist logic. The system isn’t going to change itself, because it’s run by those who own the means of production for those who own the means of production.

Perhaps the wrong lessons, like "maybe we should've destabilised the country a bit more before we started our outward aggression, this 'loss' cannot be as easily sold to the average jingoistic American". 😔
