When people say, β€œEw, a skeleton.” but they also have a skeleton:

We're all bags full of bones and offal, but we find very few configurations of that to be acceptable. Fewer still if some of those parts are missing.

Try visiting your local abattoir and tell them you won't leave until you get a bag full of bones and offal and see if you like what you get.

(Caveat: This may not apply if you are a manufacturer of haggis.)

I feel sorry for the skeleton.

I had this happen once when I was in jr high. Someone was teasing a girl and was like "You could go out with !". She responded with "ew". It kind of fucked me up for a bit because I was like "yea I'm not very attractive and you don't want to date me, sure, I understand, but am I gross too?

In jr high I gave a stuffed animal to the girl I liked and she immediately went to the trashcan and threw it out. Kids are cruel.

It's okay Mr Skeletal, I think a screaming skeleton is very scary.

It sounds like a good basis for a story though if @amadiohchess@lemmy.world expanded it.

All that user is doing is trying to promote their youtube chess channel in the cringiest way.

Ok, I saw chess in the name and just assumed it was a weird name. I suppose repeated mentions of the name might influence search engines, but I had no idea they were trying to promote anything, so it doesn't seem to be a particularly effective strategy. Nonetheless, I still think there's the bones of an interesting story there, perhaps with a name change though.
