Good Europe needs to a grow a pair and stand up for its sovereignty apart from the US. As it has been for far too many years the US has had way too much power in this regard.

or of a deliberate strategy to destabilize the current world order for some reason.

even if trump himself may be 'dumb', he is working with the other ghouls to try and stop the empire from collapsing at any cost. (it will anyway)

That’s true, trump it’s genuinely an idiot I think and yeah he is surrounded by ghouls that are not, buy what could be the point in turning everyone against the us posting of lots of people in the us as well, and we’ll… that’s about it?

But maybe I’m just dumb idk

sometimes their weird plan doesn't make sense until the reveal, and is not always that smart.

we always end up disgusted by the greed though.

This is one of those Trumpisms that derive from his profound ignorance, because he beat up some nerd to do literally every homework assignment in his life. A famous one is "Bigly," because he didn't understand when he first heard it that they were saying "Big League."

For a long time, I wondered what "very stable genius" meant, and it finally dawned on me. He must have heard someone described as a "veritable genius," and he decided to apply it to himself, and it garbled out as "very stable genius."

He's been working to turn our allies against us since day one.

Trump isn't blundering into this shit on accident, he's an enemy of the US. His actions make a lot more sense when you realize he's intentionally trying to weaken us.

[-] GiorgioPerlasca@lemmy.ml 7 points 3 days ago

Of course he is an enemy of US workers, like all US presidents.

But I am not sure that he is an enemy of US elites.

[-] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

Good distinction. They too are enemies of the US, by which I mean the common person and the combined potential of US citizens.

...we're way fuckin overdue for guillotine day.

Why, please elaborate if you're gonna say some batshit crazy stuff like that.

Please tell me your wacky conspiracy so I can laugh at you, and you can struggle to understand what fascism is, while living under it.

I wonder why hitler would "destabilize germany", its because he was working for russia right?

[-] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

...yea there's no way I can accept that's in good faith. I'll leave you with: 'gestures broadly at the last decade'

If you want to argue that he is somehow benefiting the US at the rest of the world's expense, then go ahead and knock yourself out, but the frequency at which he damages our country speaks for itself.

[-] LowResBeer@lemmy.ml 5 points 3 days ago

What do you think abolishing nato would do?

It might stop them from unleashing anticommunist terrorism all around Europe (e.g. gladio in Italy).
