I'll take the "privacy invading age verification" as a starter, then "broad vpn banning plans" as a main, mmmmh what should I get as a desert?

I'm not sure how I feel about these social media bans for children. If we feel it's bad for children, maybe we should identify what's so bad about it and prevent that from being a thing for everyone? That's of course besides the whole point of these bans probably not being very effective. But maybe it's a good thing children learn how to circumvent the authorities/bans again. There is a real lack of technical skills in the younger generations.

Studies have come out in Australia now (Cos we didn’t do any before implementing it) that show medium social media use is best for teens wellbeing with too little or too much being equally bad. It was never about protecting the children imo, but about normalising control and ID.

What counts as "social media"? Steam is social media by most definitions.
