I use qBitController to manage downloads on my home computer from my Android device.

Do you want something to download onto your android device? I thought LibreTorrent was fine 🤷

LibreTorrent worked fine for me when I used it for a few months (I generally use a home SBC and desktop).

I have no issues with Libretorrent, but I don't download a lot on Android. What about Gopeed?

Never had an issue with LibreTorrent.

It would be nice to have something as simple as Flud, but without the freaking ads and open source. At least Flud works 100% of the time and the ad, if one is even displayed, is only the tiniest little banner at the bottom. I'd tolerate it less if I downloaded torrents on my phone more.

LibreTorrent is fine.

Progress getting stuck in the middle of a download might be caused by disappearance of seeds or lack of storage space.

Clear a gig of space and try with a known good torrent (e.g. this one) and see if the problems are still there.

Tixati isn't open source, but it is very good, free, and available on Linux.

Transdroid is a client for torrent servers. It doesn't do torrents by itself.
