Thunder also has user labels/tags.

[-] mugthol@lemmy.blahaj.zone 18 points 4 weeks ago

Voyager and connect do too

[-] Zealotte@lemmy.zip 12 points 3 weeks ago

I'm using Voyager, and I thought "we have that?"

Turns out you have to turn the feature on in the settings.

Thanks for the heads-up, person who is getting tagged.

[-] SacralPlexus@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

I like the color coding too. People who misbehave get red tags so I know without even reading the tag to expect shenanigans. Excellent humans get a green tag.

[-] Zealotte@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago

Aww. I like red, but I get it.

Time to start misbehaving!

[-] SacralPlexus@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

Best I can do until you really act up.

[-] Zealotte@lemmy.zip 5 points 3 weeks ago

Deal, and from your screenshot, I just learned that you can track votes too!

I'm learning so much today.

[-] JigglySackles@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Noice. That's some pinky up tagging.

[-] dotslashme@infosec.pub 3 points 4 weeks ago

It's a good feature, I just wish I knew how to make it appear on posts and comments.

I think you nailed the most passive-agressive way to get your point across. Thanks for the chuckle.

[-] SanctimoniousApe@lemmings.world 2 points 4 weeks ago

Not sure about posts as I guess I haven't tagged anyone, and then seen a post from them. On comments, tho, it automatically appears right under the username for me.

[-] dotslashme@infosec.pub 3 points 4 weeks ago

Right you are, I see it on comments.

What I miss from RES is that the tag used to link to the comment the tag was made on.

[-] StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works 5 points 4 weeks ago

Oooh that would be useful

[-] AmbiguousProps@lemmy.today 2 points 3 weeks ago

This would be awesome!

[-] StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 weeks ago

It's a simple life, but it's mine

[-] Burghler@sh.itjust.works 10 points 4 weeks ago

Hahaha I know exactly who this is talking about. They hallucinate sources and hang onto issues from 10+ years ago that were solved within a year after they happen.

You'll commonly find this guy in any Gaben or steam thread. Definitely try having a conversation with this one, it's entertaining

[-] StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 weeks ago

Yeah it was definitely a bizarre experience

[-] the_grass_trainer@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

I wonder if they're ai and if you told them "not to hallucinate" if they'd be able to give you what you asked for.

[-] AmbiguousProps@lemmy.today 8 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 4 weeks ago)

Same. Also makes it easier if I change instances in the future. Everyone I block gets a tag so I know in the future. I just wish I could change the green background to whatever color I want, on a per tag basis.

[-] theskyisfalling@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 4 weeks ago

Voyager you can assign a tag and a colour to said tag on a per user basis.

[-] AmbiguousProps@lemmy.today 3 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 4 weeks ago)

But I love boost other than this :( Does voyager work with Piefed like boost?

[-] DarkSirrush@piefed.ca 10 points 4 weeks ago* (last edited 4 weeks ago)

Yes* but voyager has other issues that haven't been addressed (especially with piefed), and they have bad updates like hijacking the share button to their own instance instead of the one you are on, or the original post's instance.

Edit: Summit supports custom tag colours per user though!

[-] AmbiguousProps@lemmy.today 5 points 4 weeks ago

I'll have to check out Summit!

[-] theskyisfalling@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 4 weeks ago

I believe so but not 100% sure as I haven't dabbled with piefed yet

[-] RickyRigatoni@retrolemmy.com 3 points 4 weeks ago

But you can export your account settings which includes blocks and import them into the new account

[-] AmbiguousProps@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

Yes, but this requires no exporting or other actions. Once a user tag is created, that's all that's needed.

didn't know that existed and I'm a boost user for years now ^^

[-] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 7 points 4 weeks ago

Summit also has tags. It's definitely a great feature.

[-] TabbsTheBat@pawb.social 4 points 4 weeks ago

Well I learned something new today :3

[-] paultimate14@lemmy.world 4 points 4 weeks ago
[-] yakko@feddit.uk 3 points 3 weeks ago

I accidentally cleared my cache from the first two years on Lemmy, and lost a lot of user tags. ๐Ÿ˜•

[-] kuro_neko@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 weeks ago

I should add cloud backup functionality.

[-] yakko@feddit.uk 1 points 3 weeks ago

That would rule tbh

[-] JigglySackles@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Really wish jerboa had this feature.
