46? That's crazy. What are more standard temperatures in those regions in summer?

I'd say low to mid 30s usually. You do get a few scorchers like this every so often though, so it's not unexpected but still sucks. Really depends on what parts you're in, my city is on the coast and generally much colder than up north.

Usually get 5ish days over 40, per summer.
