I get using Obsidian and Ardour -- but I wonder about using Ollama.
This is something that people are going to differ on, but I have strong opinions about how my characters sound. I would want to have strong control over that if I were doing this. It's different when actors and a director are involved. I would only have so much say. But I can look at that as someone else's interpretation of my work.
IMO - using an AI based TTS system would not meet my personal standards.
I was going to experiment with some things, leaving dialog alone. I was going to tell the AI to leave the dialog alone, and do everything else to proofread and recommend things I can do. That was my plan at least.
Oh, using it as an editing process is completely different from what I was thinking. I thought you were using as a TTS type system to read your book for you. (I made a jump because you mentioned Ardour.)
Not to worry. I'll be editing my post once I finish downloading AnythingLLM, which is another Ollama-supported frontend of sorts.
