Well if you consider the other side are a health insurance company plus a government bureaucracy, it's no wonder they're dragging out the process until past the point it would do him any good.

Generally speaking, people facing trial for murder may be deemed a danger to the public and denied bail. Like most aspects of the legal system it's unfair in practice, but it's not completely unreasonable

Does anyone in the thread have more specific insights or educated guesses on when we might actually see the trial commence? Are we looking at early 2026, or is a date in late 2026 or even 2027 more realistic based on the usual delays from appeals and jury selection in a case this complex?

Any knowledge shared about potential timelines or key hurdles still to come would be greatly appreciated, I'm mostly clueless about this!
