They aren't wrong. Wikipedia having such curated and referenced knowledge is really really important.

They're also seeing missives declines in visitation from humans because the AIs use it as a high quality source and people don't even need to visit after the answers it gives.

This is one of those situations where AI companies need to be funding Wikipedia intentionally, so that the quality stays high so that their AI can continue using it as a source to answer questions CORRECTLY.
