You wouldn't be too wrong. Since 1990 from my reckoning they've given the peace prize to
- 2 internationally recognised genocidaires (Aung San Suu Kyi [Well, what she did was recognised as a genocide by basically every NGO, but somehow she is never blamed], Abiy Ahmed)
- 5 known war criminals (Obama, Yitzhak Rabin [Although he remains the least bad Israeli prime minister, a praise somewhat akin to "the nicest nazi", something over which he was murdered], Shimon Peres, Carter and Abiy Ahmed)
- 1 guy who covered up war crimes (Juan Manuel Santos)
- 1 Person who was mentioned in the panama papers (Juan Manuel Santos again)
- 1 Gorbachev
Kissinger writes an article with the same headline, but the text is just about how Machado hasn't killed enough kids to earn the prize.
Kissinger offered to give the prize back. Even he realised it was absurd
Tom Lehrer famously declared that satire died the day Kissinger got the nobel peace prize. (He also stopped doing satire)
Yep hell if you wanted a venezuelian opposition figures she only stands out by how much she campaigns the western line and kowtows to them.

The meanings and purposes of all institutions have not been lost, they've become clear. The veil has been lifted, which is whtly the aggression has increased.
