NIN getting that Disney money. Only 90s kids can remember
Haven't listened to it yet, but it's probably going to be the only good part of the film.
Just like the daft punk soundtrack was basically the only good part of Tron legacy
ikr I'm gonna skip the movie just so I don't associate the music with it. come to think of it I didn't watch Legacy til several years after it came out.
It's okay, not terribly original, it's about exactly what you expect when you think NIN soundtrack. Considerably darker than the last two.
I'm listening to it rn… it isn't "cyberpunky" but the sound that made Quake II great as it was is still there.
NIN only did the soundtrack to the first Quake. The Quake II soundtrack was Sonic Mayhem.

I heard they wanted NIN to do the Q2 soundtrack but Trent didn’t like the direction Q2 went. I think Sonic Mayhem did a pretty good job with the Q2 soundtrack. The song Quad Machine still pops into my head randomly after all these years.
