How the hell is anyone not convinced that America is still a settler country when you literally have a large, majority white, landowning caste that possesses inhuman amounts of firearms and enacts terror upon the lower castes for posing the slightest amount of discomfort to the landowning class.

Also, I know the point is already beaten to a pulp, but god damned, the double standards when a white man shoots someone he "thinks" to be a "threat" and gets off scott free while legitimate self-defense cases (usually by women or POC) are given barely any leniency.

idk how you re-educate a country with over 300 million people because it seems like this shit is never going to stop here. Classrooms full of kids getting shot every year, paranoid suburnanites gunning down neighborhood kids, kids shooting each other at home because they have easy access to their nutjob parents' guns. Genuinely can't imagine a scenario where the US turns it around and stops tearing itself apart

"had not arrested anybody in connection with the boy’s death as of Sunday evening"... wtf does that mean isn't it the home owner that shot the boy or did they flee but that isn't being mentioned? I could just feel the article writer trying to neutral tone a clear cut story of a sociopath shooting a kid in the back for a simple prank. Fuck this country...

this is gonna happen more and more often. ameriKKKans have a thirst for blood and a fetish for punishment. many older or otherwise bitter people believe they should be able to dish out the maximum amount of punishment against someone for the tiniest transgression

i had seen one of those “scare dumb old people” news stories recently in my local paper. apparently atlanta has a problem with “roving youth gangs ding dong ditching”. i saw multiple comments by exactly who you would expect, retelling stories about how recently some kids tried to do this to them and they came outside with a gun and aimed it at the kids. all the comments in support of this. they framed it like they were “defending themselves”. they painted it as “sure it was just a kid ding dong ditching but it could have been a criminal trying to break into my house!!!”. they’re cowards who hate youth and want to kill children and on top of that they want to be called heroes for it.

people are products of their environment yes, but you really can't blame the environment for murdering a child.

restorative justice is not for when someone who has a gun proves they will use it on children.

You have to realize that this is a safe space for leftists to get away from shitholes like Reddit and Twitter. I don't want to assume bad faith, but ironically, I think you are overlooking a key material concern, and that is the concerns of the victims.

An extreme, unyielding brutality has been enacted upon the non-white, non-male, non-heterosexual, non-cisgender, non-able bodied, non-neurotypical population, and so, it is only fair that people can, on appropriate occasions, glibly call for the death of some of the worst people on Earth.

Worst, not by their inherent badness, but by their actions - support for blatant imperialist institutions, cosigning or even engaging in oppression against the marginalized and alienated, and overall just aligning themselves more with bourgeoisie or petite bourgeoisie interests rather than proletarian ones.

When the time comes, will there be mass murder? I'd say, probably. In the earliest days of the revolution, when there is chaos and disorder while the revolutionary apparatus tries to assert it's authority, there will likely be mobs of people enacting a people's justice. But when order is restored? I doubt there will be many executions. There will be executions, certainty, but I doubt that your average red neck trucker who says "I love Q" on Facebook is being executed by a revolutionary council.

When people call for the death of the oppressor on here, it is a sigh of the oppressed. Sort of like religion. It's not the "right" way to handle things, sure, but to condemn it is not the correct solution. Like religion, this is a genuine response to capitalism - ineffectual, but originating from the alienated and marginalized.

It is the job of a principled communist / anarchist / whatever title you give to yourself to redirect "Incorrect" or "counterproductive" forms of response to capitalism into more correct and revolutionary forms. By wholesale dismissing it, you act like an antitheist, which sure, it can be correct in some situations, but a complete unilateral and context-unaware anti-theism can often be counter-productive.

I feel like this needs to be said, as though you are operating under an assumption...

Hexbears, while they may individually be apart of an organization, are not, collectively, revolutionaries, but merely sympathizers to the revolutionary cause. The collective of Hexbears, regardless of individual outliers (shoutout to the party members on Hexbear) are leftists, communists, anarchists, whatever, insofar that they agree with the ideology of their choosing and sympathize with actions taken by the revolutionary apparatus of their choosing.

These sentiments are coming from, not an organized revolutionary apparatus that is obligated to be tactical, merciful, or at minimum, adherent to their ideology of choosing, but an angry mass that has complete and utter justification to talk about their disgust and hatred towards the higher reactionary castes. I emphasize talk, because nobody is subscribing to the ideology of "Total Euro-Amerikkkan Genocide" because a Hexbear said that landleeches should be gutted like fish.

If you are a party member, congratulations, and thank you for performing praxis. If you are not, then it's partially understandable, given the toll that capitalism takes on all of us, and our inability to meaningfully oppose it in some instances. But you should not mistake an angry mass for a revolutionary apparatus. Isn't vanguardism all about converting an angry, marginalized, and alienated mass towards a revolutionary direction?

And sure, you may not subscribe to vanguardism, but it is still essential to make distinctions between the revolutionary apparatus and the alienated masses. An alienated mass can scream and shout about how they want to disintegrate anyone who's ever misgendered a person, and while they are valid for having those beliefs due to the aforementioned harm inflicted upon them, in no ways are they capable of, or even realistically supportative, of that mass murder.

Oppressed people say shit, and if all that shit were ennacted in real life, sure, bad things would happen. But that's why the words "glib," "off-handed remark," "in the heat of the moment," and other such words exist - to signify the difference from a meaningful call to action vs. a frustrated cry against the oppressor castes.

Option A: ignore 'em, they're just kids, and eventually they'll stop. Option B: disconnect the door bell because it's really irritating. Option C: Shoot the kid in the back.

Shoot and starving kids in Gaza, working in DRC mines, ending their healthcare, education, and school lunches, stealing them from their parents for deportation; old boomers really hate kids and see no future for the planet so they'll do anything to keep from being inconvenienced.

I hope I don't come across too performative or aggressive when I say this, but...

LIBERALS AND CHUDS ARE NOT HUMAN. THEY ARE CLEANLY CARVED AMALGAMATIONS OF PURE RACISM CONCENTRATE. THEY FUNDAMENTALLY DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE HUMAN, OR THE HUMAN DESIRE TO LIVE. THEY ACT AS THE ANTITHESIS TO THE COMMON VALUES OF HUMANITY.

The average reddit-logo will see an article or video about a child getting violently abused by an adult and post ”Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” in response. Their hatred of children is only matched by their hatred of homeless people and anyone (protesters) who inconvenience their treat runs.

It’s so dumb how they call us “easily offended” but these types sincerely wish death on people they just find annoying. Look at the whole “anti-woke” shit. All of it is the same “I begrudgingly let them be, but some of them on tumblr annoyed me with their desire for revenge, so I crashed out and became a proud genocidal nazi. I am normal.”

Not reddit-logo but folks on the Houston channel 2 website are saying:

CW for descriptions of and justifications for violence against children, veiled racism, and victim blamingScreenshot of a comment wherein the author tries to justify the cold-blooded murder of an 11 year old boy, there are 13 upvotes and no downvotes

screenshot of a comment wherein the author talks about the time he used a loaded firearm to threaten children who were standing near his car, there are 18 upvotes and 1 downvote

The upvote-downvote scores say a lot here.
