Last week was good... Mouseman knows! Mouseman has ears! Mouseman knows!

One I missed previously but worth mentioning:

"These Savage Shores" from Vault Comics. 5 issues from Ram V. Vault is going to be doing an inexpensive line of digest size books starting next month, but this one is already out as an "Ultimate Edition" that is gorgeous.

European vampire gets a notion to go hunting in India and learns... there are worse things than vampires!

The monster? Rakshasa!

Let's see what this week brings!

Absolute Martian Manhunter #6 (Of 12) - I must be dumb because I didn't realize this was limited until now.

Benjamin #3 (Of 3) - Just delightful, what if a famous dead sci-fi writer mysteriously returned to life, possibly as a self destructive robot?

Dust To Dust #6 (Of 8) - Been a while on this one, I'm going to need to re-read to remember where we left off. Depression era dust bowl murder mystery.

Flash #24

Ghost Machine:
Geiger #17 - Holy crow! #17 already?
Hornsby And Halo #9

Green Arrow #27

Green Lantern Dark #6 (Of 7) - Actually forgot this was still going.

Herculoids #7 - Sucker for both Space Ghost and Herculoids!

Huck Big Bad World #4 - Simple Superman continues!

Justice League Unlimited #10 - New story here!

Mr. Terrific Year One #4 (Of 6)

'Nam 1966-1969 Omnibus HC - $125 so this needs some explanation. Back in 1986, Platoon was a HUGE movie and brought movies about Vietnam back into the forefront. To capitalize on this, Marvel releases "The 'Nam", a serious look at the war in a comic book format. The idea was to have 1 month of the comic = 1 month in real time from the war starting in January, 1966. Yeah, they screwed it up with imaginary stories and dream sequences, but still a solid read. Tet Offensive begins in #25.

COLLECTING: THE ‘NAM (1986) #1-45 and material from SAVAGE TALES (1985) #1 and #4

Still needs about 39 more issues +10 in a magazine format to be complete, but an excellent start!

Peacemaker Presents The Vigilante Eagly Double Feature #5 (Of 5) - Sequel to the TV show finishes just in time for the sequel to the TV show!

Superman #29 - More with the Ultimate Legion of Super Heroes.

Thing #4 (Of 5) - Thing vs. Bullseye last issue was a riot!

Ultimate Spider-Man #20 - Coming near the end? Rumor is #24 is it?

We're Taking Everyone Down With Us #5 (Of 6) - Another one that I'm not 100% sure where it's going, and not in a bad way!

X-Men #21 - Coming up on the Age of Revelation reboot.

X-MEN: TOOTH AND CLAW (2025) #1 - Another print collection of digital issues. "From the Ashes" #13 to 18. One more issue (Undertow) should finish the run at #25 in October. See X-Men: Xavier's Secret for #1-6 and Demons and Death for #7-12.

I do like Ram V! Is the Rakshaasa the same one from Rare Flavours, Rubin Baksh, AKA Bakasura?

What's this Mouseman? I missed it! "Mouseman knows" reminds me of The Shadow, and I like The Shadow!

Not the same one from Rare Flavours, more Victorian period.

Mouseman has been in the last few issues of Wonder Woman. Good stuff!

A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.

Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.

There is only one rule:*

Comic Books is a no judgement zone.

You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.

If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.

* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(

I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.
