”no you see, my children don’t believe the same things I do after getting an education, that means the education is wrong, not that my beliefs are questionable when subjected to high school level of critical thinking.”
"Oh no, my child doesn't share my terrible opinions anymore after coming into contact with other opinions outside my control for the first time!"
Winner
Every time I hear somone talk about "indoctronation," I reply that if teachers could indoctronate students, they would do their homework and get to class on time.
Probably one of the first things they would do, if they really wanted to indoctrinate their students, would probably be actually get it up on the board: INDOCTRINATION, and teach them how to spell it.
That's actually a smart reply, I know for sure a bunch of teachers that wanted to control their students and where frustrated to how they couldn't
Can confirm, went to public school in Germany. Am now gay, socialist, feminist, terrorist, whateverist.
Or none of the above, or some, who knows. The danger is * real! 😭
PREVIEW_HERE
*not
By posting here you confirm that you're a gay, woke, atheist, muslim, commie Feminazi. Don't try to deny it!
France and most of its media/politicians can't get enough papers/talks on "ecoterrorists", so I'm wondering how long it'll take before they spam us with the gayterrorists and femiterrorists.
If only there were actual ecoterrorists at this point. It's not like any government is doing enough to slow the climate apocalypse.
Oh there are. A week ago, an Anarchoprimitivist collective set fire to rail cables in the name of stopping industry. Nevermind the consequences for setting fire to cables to crucial to public transport and thereby leading to hour long delays in the most densely populated region of Germany.
So there are ecoterrorists, they are just way less scary than big cooperations and a good deal dumber.
holy shit, spoiler that you lunatic
I find it equal parts hilarious and morbidly concerning that I honestly have no idea if whoever originally made this was being satirical or just showcasing their brain rot
This comment is true for like 90% of the internet at this point.
There is a law about this but I forget it.
I think the minions really add to that. I could totally see this being posted unironically to some conservative facebook group.
They wouldn't believe it literally, but they'd agree with the general vibes
Unfortunately I've met people who believe this literally
Or a .ml instance... Although they'd be more likely to take the USSR flag as unironically good in this context. Either way this image is brain rot more than correct.
Poe's Law, my man.
I wish
they took his eye!
Our eye, comrade.
airship > cross
airship
I had originally mistaken that for a giant club when I glanced at the image, and wondered what, exactly, they thought a public education would teach.
"Is our children learning?" - George W. Bush
Why the heck is the Hindenburg in there?
Because communism
Weird to equate airships with communism, but I guess lacking education will do that. The British and the French also had airships.
I live in Montréal and there are historical pictures of a British airship flying over the city and moored at the St-Hubert airport. There's even a song about people going to see it at the airport.
You can make out it's the Hindenburg from those three pixels? What makes it so distinctive it has to be the Hindenburg?
Soviets often had airships as part of their propaganda materials. So that's why it's included here I think.
- They built like 6 airships and none of them looked like the pictured one.
- If you have a look at the gondola arrangement, it is extremely similar - if not identical - to that of the Hindenburg class.
This is little timmy. Little timmy is a marxist-leninist-maoist-gonzaloist, is going to form the vanguard and shall lead the proletariat to be liberated from their shackles.
He's also a 5 year old in kindergarten, damn woke public education. Say hi to little timmy.
That hat goes hard
good to know that the public education system works
They gave him a (woke) mustache 😔
I guess all the people that a certain group has feared have rocked some pretty wicked moustachios.
I thought the public education broadcast was Fox news
Kirov reporting.

Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
