It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Still find it baffling it wasn't just 100% funded by the JDF for how much boot it was licking.

I think the author is a true right wing freak and was cheering on Abe's attempts to rewrite the constitution to remove the self defense stipulation

On the issue of people not caring yeah Japanese political apathy is a double edged sword(pun not intended), it makes it incredibly easy for the neoliberal capitalism system to perpetuate and strengthen itself through the traditional gender and social roles, but it also means people inherently give up and don't go back to question these old issues, the WW2 issues are settled, for the average Japanese they don't care because it means more "politics" which is just the same old same old.

The fascist-nationalist elements that powerful enough to dictate Japanese policy are not watching anime anyway. If you even try to make this into accessible media like manga and stuff it is even worse, like why on earth would you expect some high school student to give a shit about an island dispute from 100 years ago?

Literally the "made/designed by committee" shit in real life, probably the most obvious and clear example of someone being out of touch with reality but pushing ahead anyway.
