Use LibreWolf/firefox and UBlock Origins and kick the data collectors to the curb.
Libewolf is firefox, and i would suggest canvas, an anti fingerprinting extention and noscript, but it breaks a ton of sites
LibreWolf is a fork with more privacy protections. Firefox has some shitty people in charge now and can’t be counted on being good in the future.
From what I understand you don’t want to use too many addons because that will also help fingerprint your machine. But I’ll give that one a look!
Own browser, or slap on their own user interface and extensions on Chromium?
I read another article that said they're planning to use a custom fork of Chromium.
They will start paying you peanut flakes, to harvest every word you write directly and to allow them to use your browser as a scraping bot, mark my words
