Yes I used to read them as a child when I was in an IGCSE school. They were fun.
I bought a set over a year ago for my son, then the school library also seems to have them (they pick a book a week)
I remember they were graded in colours. I read them so much they ran out of colours to give me.
I remember the first few stages were orange, green, and blue while the magical adventure ones were purple (I think, I might be wrong)
Yes! I read them in school and used to look for the hidden pair of glasses in each book.

Same here - my kids had these, but I'm of the generation raised on Roger Red Hat.
Same, I had mine bringing them home a few years ago.
One thing that always struck me was how 1990's (and maybe earlier) the pictures were. It's hard to put my finger on why, but they just don't feel contemporary.
