A nugget of good Trans-news from my corner of the world: A trans woman had her garage burn down, and arson is suspected (nobody caught yet, it's still early in the investigation), as this comes after a string of other incidents such as bricks thrown at her house.

The rest of the town came together to show her support, and it is now at the point where someone is always outside her house to make sure more stuff does not happen.

To any trans person that is considering/wanting to visit the USA: don’t. The odds of you actually facing legal trouble or being harmed in some way is still pretty low, but I would not risk it.

We just very narrowly avoided having trans healthcare being taken away from those on government funded insurance. It’s getting worse, and I do not see it getting better any time soon.

Yeah y'all should stay away. I wish we were in a place to welcome y'all, it would mean I'm safe and I always love meeting trans people from around the world, y'all're family. But right now it ain't safe for us American trans folks, and it ain't safe for cis visitors.
