Huh… didn’t expect it to be available in the US. Nice!

The 5 had been on my radar, but unfortunately, I had given up on it ever coming stateside and replaced my 7yo phone just a few months ago. I hope I get to try a fairphone in 7 years when this one dies!

Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde “oem” parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.
