Oh look, more first amendment violations.

[-] [email protected] 18 points 3 days ago

All over the place. Trump acts as if the Constitution has been made irrelevant.

[-] [email protected] 12 points 3 days ago

It has, and the SCOTUS ruling this week that courts have no authority to enforce it confirms what the entire planet already knew.

At this point, it's more like a checklist to see how many amendments he can break.

[-] [email protected] 5 points 3 days ago

He's already broken the 10 Commandments, the Constitution is peanuts

This does of course imply the protests are working.

I'm sure he's still helplessly whimpering at night in bed, following caps-lock reality-divorced social posts, over his birthday parade failure as a result of No Kings and the 30,000-pound non-penetrating ordnance adventure in Iran.

Therefore, I think we should continue to protest.

There appear to be activities scheduled for July 4 and July 17: https://www.fiftyfifty.one/

Well, it's funny, because that's not how non-profit organizations work...you fucking idiots.

At what point would the non-violence crowd argue it was the right time to violently fight back against the nazis during the holocausts?

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

When the Japanese bombed Perl harbor.

[-] [email protected] 4 points 3 days ago

I was referring to the people being holocausted, but we’ve done multiple Pearl Harbors, it might be time for international intervention.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

That’s the point. There was no moment of clarity for pacifists during the holocaust. It took entirely unrelated events to get the US involved.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 3 days ago

These days it would have to be Rust harbor

[-] [email protected] 1 points 3 days ago

don't worry, they are manufacturing consent to attack Iran. so the non violent people will come out in support of another middle East war
