Generally speaking if I get >50% through a game I'll almost always finish it, unless I hit a bullshit road block or life gets in the way for some reason. Two notable examples:

  • My save for Oddworld New n Nasty got glitched by a release day bug so I was unable to play the final 10-15 minutes of the game and just watched the end on YouTube.

  • Currently I'm about 80% of the way through The Alters but the survival stuff is finally starting to wear me down and I'm not sure if I can be bothered to reload an earlier save to get my characters out of a hole. I very nearly quit during Act 2 when I spent a few hours reloading saves to brute-force my way through, but I just about made it. In Act 3 I'm really losing the will to keep playing. I've enjoyed playing it on Game Pass but I also think maybe I'm ready to move on and start Death Stranding 2 rather than put myself through another 5-10 hours of this.

You lot?
