Shifty, the new Adam Curtis docuseries.

Government Cheese, a surreal fiction of a recently released ex-convict returning to his family and trying to walk the straight and narrow, but has too many favors to fulfill from his old life. The whole crew is brimming with charisma.

Twisted Metal on Peacock. Its just fun and I am impressed with the characters and story they are able to build out of a battle royale game with cars and guns lmao

It rules. And there is actually a back story for every character in the games on their character sheets. The show seems to follow a lot of it.

I finished Andor earlier this week, and honestly wow 🤌🤌. Highly recommend it to anyone that loved Star Wars: Rogue One.

That's on my list!

After watching The Pitt earlier this year I decided to start watching ER.

I'm on season 3 of ER right now and it's absolutely fantastic. I just finished the Convenience Store episode with Ewan McGregor, special episodes like that really make the show stand out.

The best episode of course was George Clooney saving the kid trapped in the water drain. It's an episode where the whole vibe changes and you know it's about to get reeeeeal good.

I used to be borderline obsessed with it! It sadly got shit in later seasons, plus I found out it's horribly unrealistic. It's got some amazing moments though

I’ve been watching Murderbot (Appletv+, lots of fun) and Duster (HBO, also fun.)

The Murderbot books are a fast fun read and the show so far has followed them closely enough. Murderbot's inner dialogue is more expressive in the books IMHO, but I might be remembering later books vs the first one.

Excellent story, really good execution on the show. I'll have to give Duster a shot

I've been watching an Australian show called Glitch in which a group of people mysteriously return to life in perfect health/condition. Would recommend.

Kid Cosmic, the 70s Lupin III series, wishbone, samurai jack, invader zim, lower decks, and chainsaw man.

We keep it eclectic

Watching:

  • The Other One - fun, if a little brainless. Stacked with top tier British C listers. You'll recognise almost everyone if you've seen plenty of non-famous British show.
  • Les Bureau des Legends - Just started it, I'm mostly over national security spy thrillers, but it was good enough I'll probably watch a bit more.
  • House of the Dragon S2 - keep asking myself why am I still watching it. Plots being ever more idiot-bally, and lack of travel time detract from what would otherwise be a decently put together show.

Recommend: Motherland - all you people saying there're no good modern sitcoms need to check out British TV more. Though obvioisly we'll never produce as many episodes as a Fraiser or Friends does, but still good quality stuff.

Started to watch From and so far I like it.
Also slowly watching Frasier. It's an old tv show but I was missing a fun sitcom, and it seems there are no new ones.

Started watching Kleo on Netflix, trying to get thru my neglected watchlist. Great show so far!

Rewatching Magic Funhouse

I randomly discovered this show years ago on vrv. Unfortunately it was "lost" after the shutdown. I just found it again on youtube.

It is a fantastically made dark humor show about a man-child who runs a children's show.

It's crazy and delightful and just as fun as I remember it.

It's a real shame it only got 2 seasons and the creator doesn't hold the rights to it.
