I'm never setting foot in the US again. Thank goodness I'm Canadian.

Watch out for Bill C2. It requires companies to collect data on you (Canadian citizens) and shields them from "accidentally" oversharing it.

That's the funny hing about normies and their little "i took a stand", if they are doing this in the US, your dumb ass in next.

With that being said, I don't think people should be risking coming to the US but that's not a solution, they are still coming for you in your own country.

This class war seems to have gone global.

Yes, I'm aware. I've signed a petition against it.

Could you please clarify? Is that referring to legal protection in the case of a consumer data breach? Because that'd be highly objectionable

All I can tell you is what I read on the linked page because I haven't analyzed the bill itself.

Impact on ALL Canadians:

Companies must keep records of your personal data under secret government orders, with blanket immunity for privacy violations for handing over more than they should.

It can happen to you, too. Stay vigilant.

Facial recognition apps are notoriously inaccurate when it comes to minority faces, but I suppose they think that's a benefit :(

It just means they get to disappear more minorities.
