Theres no drink option other than overly hoppy IPA (gross, I know, but it is the pnw) and likely salmon on some mixed greens.
I was wondering why there were so many IPAs up here. Didn't realize it was a regional thing. Recently moved to Portland
What I'd vote for: fish and chips What people actually want: McDonalds Because people are dumb
Dried plums and beetroots are a staple of the agricultural region I live in ; red wine comes next
Green Chile, and various food items smothered in green chile, with a craft beer from one of the kajillion small breweries we have around here.
Chicken teriyaki and coffee
My home state would probably be tacos and milk tea
Washington?
Ye for the first state
Thin, crispy, square cut pizza. And probably an Old Style. But I wish we were better known for our abundance of great craft beer.
There's a few tourism foods we're very well known for, but the locals would get the above choices.
Thin crust pizza with provolone cheese
Toasted ravioli
Gooey butter cake
Budweiser/Bud light
Lake Huron Whitefish, asparagus, morels (dried from May) and strawberries all local today!
A craft lager and a local dry white wine.
Fried gator tail and a Malibu driver
Weißwurst / white sausage.
Not absolutely unique, but very well-known and therefore pretty identifying for the state of Bavaria.
Tacos (really good ones like a proper al pastor or birria) and a strong frozen margarita.
Dinnede (a type of flatbread/pizza thing), and white wine.
Dinnede looks very delicious.
Chicago hot dog, surely. The deep dish pizza thing is exaggerated, but Chicago style hot dog is plentiful. Chicago style hot dog loves you. If you ask for ketchup you will have packets thrown at you disdainfully.
San Diego… I’m saying a burrito and a Modelo
Breakfast tacos and Agua de Jamaica.
Sweet tea and wet BBQ.
milk, and grilled stickies
I've never heard of grilled stickies before but they look delicious.
Grits a Ya Ya and a Bushwacker.
Irish Coffee and Mission Burritos.
It's tacos and energy drinks.
- Central California
Sweet tea and fried okra would definitely win, but personally, I'd like to see fry bread win.
Beef pot roast and plain white bread rolls (ohio). Dont think there is a distinct drink for Ohio.
Biryani and rao (sugarcane juice)
Although biryani is mostly a special occasional thing. The daily driver would be lentils.
Similarly the more common drink would be coca cola/ pepsi.
If we aren't going based on what is naturally available which would be a variety of different berries but no fruit plus some trout and venison then it would probably be something simple like hamburgers and a screamer(a slushy with soft serve ice cream at the top and bottom mixed in like a swirl
The Bedfordshire Clanger!
the region i live in is my apartment so I'm voting for dairy-free basil pesto gnocchi and an ice cold monster ultra white
Minnesota: Honeycrisp apple hard cider and fried Ellsworth cheese curds.
Vermont: A maple creeme (maple flavored, butterfat heavy, soft serve) and your choice of locally brewed beer. We’ve got a lot of craft breweries. I know Heady Topper has a cult following, but there are also other options.
