Went to the zoo with Minipeelers and Mr P. We are trying to do a "family activity" together every weekend; so far things have been quite civil really. Saw the meerkats, seals, lions, Australian section, lizards and dingoes. Tried to see the animal that smells like hot buttered popcorn (Binturong; sounds like an Indonesian beer and it looks shattered, like it spent far too much time with extended family or small children, but it really does smell like popcorn!) but being a master of camouflage it could not be seen. I wouldn't want to be seen either if I was an animal in the wild that smelled so deliciously edible!

The popcorn scented Binturong we didn't see.

Then I bought myself a tshirt of Fry saying "shutup and take my money!"

The Binturong and the Sun Bear could have drinking sessions together

Another curious looking animal, to be sure. It looks occasionally like a human wearing a costume of it at a dodgy Chinese zoo

One of the stranger things I've noticed on beach walks is the food that gets washed up. Whole fruit and vegetables. Maybe they fall off boats and ships and are not eaten by fish. Yesterday I saw a whole perfect pomegranate on the beach. odd
