Beyond that about 15 championship teams have wages comparable to laliga teams! Including Leeds who would be 8th in laliga.

Neither. Just a lot of money in the league. The value of broadcast deals and sponsorship money has skyrocketed.

There were times where some of it may have been suspicious like the City or Chelsea cases (or PSG obviously). But the industry's potential is being maximised in England. Or by England for a global product.

Part of it is the language, part of it is the brand.

The epl is the super league. Noone can catch up or hope to catch up, which is why teams can only compete with European money.
